A Patio Proposal

This weekend sure was exciting! Not only did we celebrate my lovely cousin's upcoming wedding at her fabulous Couples Shower on Friday night, but also my twin sister and her boyfriend of a year and a half got engaged on Saturday! Woot, Woot!

After a month of chatting with her beau and the family, we learned that the weekend of July 15th would be when he'd finally pop the question. Of course, she had been anxiously awaiting this moment for a really long time now and was hyper-aware of basically everything, so we really had to watch our words and our plans. Luckily, it went off without a hitch and she was none-the-wiser the whole time.

With help from the wonderful staff Sustenio at the Éilan Hotel and Spa, her boyfriend was able to pull off a seamless surprise proposal underneath their patio gazebo, complete with dinner afterwards with both families in their private dining room.

I snooped while J and I were inside the restaurant.

She wasn't expecting her family (us) to be there since we all had conveniently made up plans for that weekend, so it was even better when she walked in to see us all sitting there.

The Cangelosi Sisters are officially off the market.

I had their Mesquite-Smoked 72 Hour Beef Brisket, and it was to die for!

Can I just say that I was so impressed by the staff at Sustenio?! They really went above and beyond to make the evening that much more special. They supplied us with a complimentary champagne toast & dessert for the happy couple. Plus, the food was to die for. J and I will definitely be back. I also saw they have Happy Hour every day from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. I'll be taking advantage of in the future, yes ma'am!

For those who didn't know, Justin is actually a twin, too, which is pretty much the coolest thing ever. Of course, we had to snap a photo with the two pairs of twins.

Double Twins!

Time for another Cangelosi Wedding!!!!
